How do I know if I’m poisoned in Black Myth: Wukong?
You’ll first encounter the poison status effect early on in Black Myth: Wukong. Several enemies can poison you in Chapter 1, and it might happen without you even realizing it. There are a few indicators that you need to cure poison in Black Myth: Wukong.
The first is a small green icon underneath your health bar. This will be combined with your health slowly draining. If your health is dropping and no enemies are in sight, check for this green icon – you’re probably poisoned.

How to cure poison in Black Myth: Wukong
Okay, you’re poisoned. Your HP is dropping, and things are looking bad, but you have a couple of options. The first is to reach a Keeper’s Shrine, where you would typically fast travel in Black Myth: Wukong. There, you can rest up and heal any status effect, including poison.
To avoid being left in this situation, obtain some Antimiasma Powder. This is the best way to cure poison in Black Myth: Wukong. You can purchase this at the Store at a Keeper’s Shrine, although it costs a fair amount of Will (180 each). If it saves your life, it’s worth it. When poisoned, use this to cure yourself and receive Poison Resistance for a short time.
Alternatively, you can craft Antimiasma Powder rather than buying it. To do this, head to a Keeper’s Shrine and hit “Make Medicines.” For Antimiasma Powder, you’ll need one Tree Pearl and one Jade Lotus. Craft as many as you need, and you’re good to cure poison in Black Myth: Wukong!
