Fortnite mobile came back to iOS in the US this week, and to celebrate we’ve had a new free skin added! Burnoff. It’s a racer looking skin which seems like a bit of a random pick for this slow. However, most players aren’t going to turn down a free skin. Especially one you can unlock in-game so easily.

How can you collect Burnout? It’s a limited release. So, players can only pick it up if they can access Fortnite Mobile. However, with Fortnite iOS back in more regions, and Android accessibility being pretty wide, then there are ways to unlock it. Even if you primarily play on PC and console, then Burnoff can still be unlocked if you jump through a few hoops. This is how the new skin works and how you can get it:

How to Get Burnoff – New Free Fortnite Skin

Lately, Epic’s been using the launch of new modes or expansion of Fortnite to another device, as a chance to give out a free skin. Typically tied to the new content, so the Fortnite player base are pushed to engage with the new content or download the game on the new platform. Burnoff is currently tied to Fortnite Mobile, so this promotion should ensure the app gets a decent boost to its install numbers.

How can you get the free skin though? All you need to do is log into Fortnite on Android or iOS. Any mobile device will work. Once you’ve logged in, Burnoff should be credited to your account! It’s one of the easiest ways to get a free Fortnite skin.

One drawback is Fortnite Mobile still isn’t universally available. If you’re on iOS in a region without Fortnite mobile, the easiest solution will be to run the game on an older Android to get the skin. Since you can’t install Fortnite mobile on your own platform.

When Does The Skin Expire?

The Burnoff Fortnite skin will be available for a limited period. It’s due to be removed on June 17th. Players will need to log in to Fortnite Mobile before that time, or it’s gone forever. At least if you want to get it for free!
