The biggest new collab this week is a second wave of skins for the popular Amazon show, which is including the free Fortnite Invincible skin. Players will get access to the second wave of skins in the item shop already. However, only one will be free. And they aren’t exactly giving away the most popular character!
While it might be a character that won’t be draining everybody’s V-Bucks, there is a free Fortnite Invincible skin! It’s not normal to get a free skin for a collab like this. Usually, Fortnite skins just come to the item shop, outside of really special occasions. It seems extra care is going into promoting the current Invincible run. Including giving everyone a free skin.
The free Invincible skin is going to be Dupli-Kate. A character who was in Fortnite leaks early, and led to a somewhat muted reaction from players. With many not really knowing why it was being included in the limited skin slots at all. Making it free will probably fix that! How to Unlock the Free Fortnite Invincible Skin?
The DupliKate skin quests are here in-game with the launch of Spring Raid! Although, if you were hoping for an easy ride through to the free reward, you might be out of luck. Players have a bit of a lengthy questline to unlock the character. Not impossible, but it’ll take some dedicated play.
The quests are alternating between Earn XP in Creator made islands, then earn XP in Epic made experiences. These kinds of quests have been used before, like with the Cybertruck giveaway. However, they are a bit more difficult to push through. Especially since you need to be in a party the whole time.

This new questline is going to be best competed once you’re in a party. You’ll likely need a friend to buddy up with for the length of the quests. Then it’s just a matter of going through XP maps or deathruns until you hit a ceiling, followed by the same in Battle Royale.
Another stopping point might be the XP gap. Which gets applied as players earn XP in a single day. It’ll mean you won’t be able to get them finished up in a single day. So, it’s best to stagger the sessions for gaining XP. The bright side is all this XP will probably put you ahead in the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass, as well as helping to unlock the free invincible skin.
