The new Galactic Battle season has kicked off and we’ve got a whole new batch of weapons, one of the best is the Mythic A280-CFE Blaster Rifle. As with most seasons for the last four Chapters, the mythics are the best weapons in the game. But they’re limited to a single weapon per game. If you want to grab the Mythic A280-CFE blaster rifle, there’s a specific place you need to head to every game.
This particular Mythic is here in an old place. It’s not attached to a boss, but quite a few have a unique spot this season like the Mythic Marksman Rifle. The Mythic A280-CFE Blaster is located on the train. That’s been a source of a Mythic weapon throughout Chapter 6, but the mechanics of unlocking it have changed this season. How to Get the A280-CFE Blaster Rifle
In the current Fortnite season, the train is back to normal. Last season, we got a whole makeover where players had to properly heist the train. Stopping it and breaking inside with dynamite. This season, the “heist” is back to its old method. Claiming a chest with a bit of a cooldown before it pops. That’s where you’ll find the Mythic A28-CFE Blaster. This is how you can get it:
- Land on the train, or rotate over to it
- Climb over to the carriage with the special chest
- Hold the interact button to start the process
- A timer will appear
- Stay on the train until the timer concludes
- Once finished, it’ll pop and release the Mythic A28-CFE Blaster Rifle
The big challenge of heisting the train is to stay on for long enough. Other players might jump on for an easy kill. There are the smaller chests on the dividers between carriages with loot in them though. Great if you’ve landed on the train to collect the A28-CFE Blaster Rifle off spawn.
