The Smite Bundle 2.0 is now officially on sale in the VALORANT in-game store. To celebrate the bundle’s launch, Riot Games is giving away two Smite Knife Gun buddies which allow you to further enhance the visual appearance of your weapon.
However, even though these gun buddies can be claimed for free, it doesn’t mean that you can obtain them right away. Instead, you have to follow a certain process first to unlock these rewards. Therefore, here’s a quick guide on how to get Smite Knife Gun buddies for free in VALORANT.
How to claim free Smite Knife Gun Buddies in VALORANT

Before we dive into the details, it’s worth noting that there are two different Smite Knife Gun buddies up for grabs, as we’ve already mentioned earlier.
- Smite Knife Gun Buddy
- Gold Smite Gun Buddy
If you want to obtain the first one, all you have to do is login into the game before April 14, 2025. That’s it. When you do that, the reward will be automatically credited to your account.
Gold Smite Gun Buddy, which is the second reward, has an entirely different obtainment method. To get this gun buddy for free, you’ll have to own a Smite weapon by April 23rd. Those who already own a Smite skin, whether it’s for Vandal, Phantom or any other weapon, are eligible for this reward. In fact, those players would have already received this reward in their account.
However, many VALORANT players don’t have the Smite skin yet. As a result, such users have to purchase a Smite skin before April 23rd to get Gold Smite Gun Buddy for free. It’s worth noting that the Smite 2.0 bundle will not be a part of the featured section which means you have to wait for it to randomly appear in the shop section.
Below is a list of all the weapons that will be a part of the Smite 2.0 Skin Bundle:
- Ghost
- Bucky
- Vandal
- Outlaw
- Smite Hammer
Each weapon skin on its own will cost around 875 VALORANT Points. Meanwhile, the Smite Hammer will cost fans around 1750 VALORANT Points. The pricing for the skin bundle is quite similar to the recently launched Storm Maw Bundle during Patch 10.05.
