Team Liquid has announced the departure of 25-year-old Canadian veteran rifler Twistzz. The player will leave the team after FISSURE Playground 2.
Liquid made the shocking announcement yesterday, revealing that one of the team’s cornerstones, Twistzz, will part ways with the organization. It was also confirmed that the player has already joined another team.
This departure comes during a difficult period for Liquid, who have struggled to achieve positive results for some time. The team had a poor start at FISSURE Playground, following disappointing showings at BLAST Open London and EWC 2025.
After two years back on Team Liquid, @Twistzz
will be transferring from our team at the end of Fissure.We want to thank Russ for his flexibility, adapting to the roles we needed him in and working hard to achieve his best every time he joined the server.
