Grab a your partner, dig those roses out of your Retainer’s inventory, and get ready for love, because Valentione’s Day, Final Fantasy XIV’s celebration of amorous activities, is returning to FFXIV next week.
Announced on Monday, Jan. 27, Valentione’s Day 2025 will take place from Feb. 3, until Feb. 17. The two week event will bring new items, a seasonal event quest series and a chance to grab some older items from previous editions. What’s more, it’s taking place on the tail end of FFXIV’s ongoing Free Login Campaign.

FFXIV Valentione’s Day 2025 Event Starts Next Week
From next week, FFXIV players will be able to get their hands on some exclusive new Valentione’s Day items, including a brand new bouquet emote and a poster portraying the Valentione’s Day 2024 artwork for your in-game player housing.

While the poster is nice, it’s definitely the bouquet-giving emote that’s going to get a lot of use, especially with the romantic season around the corner. We can just imaging players using this emote to confess to their belle at the Limsa Lominsa Aetheryte.
To get your hands on these items, you’ll need to complete the 2025 Valentione’s Day quests, which can be picked up from Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre in Old Gridania. The NPC quest giver is Astrid, and will be located at X: 10.2, Y: 9.4 from Feb. 3 onwards.

What is Valentione’s Day in FFXIV?
Valentione’s Day is, of course, FFXIV’s answer to St. Valentine’s Day, celebration of love, romance, and matters of the heart. In FFXIV’s universe, Valentione’s Day is overseen by the Valentione’s family, who spend the day attempting to help others in labours of love. Members of the family include Lisette de Valentione, and her cousin Astrid.
The event has run since 2011, missing only a single edition in 2013. Over the years the NPCs involved have appeared consistently, and even gone through their own story progression. This year looks to be no different with Astrid and Emilie once again stepping up to share love across Eorzea.
