Marvel Rivals has taken the gaming world by storm. With many characters and modes, the game keeps up with its initial hype. A significant reason for this is that all the characters are playable in the game’s current meta. To ensure that some heroes keep up with the power curve, NetEase has announced balance changes to heroes like Human Torch and Iron Man. In this article, let’s look at the new hero adjustments in Marvel Rivals.

With the release of the Heroes The Thing and Human Torch, there has been a change in the meta within the game. Many fans and professional players believe The Thing is more prominent in the meta now. Marvel Rivals has announced some upcoming balance changes to ensure that some heroes are more playable. These will go live on March 13.
Iron Man
Iron Man is slated to receive adjustments on his primary attack. He has two versions of his primary attack, for those who don’t know. The first is a simple energy blast, and the second is an energy beam. The first change is that the Repulsor Blast Stages 1 and 2 hit damage has been reduced from 55 to 40 HP. At the same time, there is an increase in his spell field damage from 35 to 50 HP.
Similarly, there is a decrease in the stage 3 direct hit damage from 65 to 50 HP, but an increase in the spell field damage from 40 to 60 HP. This has been done to ensure that the energy blast also damages the enemies within the blast radius and not just those directly hit by the charge.
Similarly, his second primary skill, Repulsor Blast (Armor Overdrive) direct hit damage, decreased from 55 to 50 HP while increasing the spell field damage from 55 to 65 HP. Some fans believe this might push Iron Man higher in the Marvel Rivals Hero Tier List.
Cloak & Dagger

Cloak & Dagger is one of the most complex characters to play in the game. This is due to players having to master two unique playstyles to unleash the potential of this hero. The changes to the hero are focused on the healing ability of the hero.
In the upcoming update, there will be an increase in the healing effect from Lightforce Dagger on hit allies from 10 to 16 HP. Unlike with Iron Man, they will have their spell field healing amount generated by the hit reduced from 18 to 16. A lot of Duelists in the game have around 250 HP. With this change, Cloak & Dagger can provide their teammates nearly 7% of health.
Human Torch
The last patch comes to the recently released hero from the Fantastic Four, Human Torch. The hero is receiving a buff to his primary and ultimate abilities. The speed of his primary ability, Fire Cluster projectile, has been increased from 120m/s to 150m/s. At the same time, the projectile count has risen from 12 to 14.
Finally, his ultimate ability, Supernova, has increased energy costs from 3400 to 4000. However, the increase is that the activation wave damage has been buffed from 70 to 80 HP, and flame tornado damage has been increased from 100 per/s to 120 per/s.
