Elsa Bloodstone arrives as the newest hero in Marvel Rivals, bringing her monster-hunting pedigree to the growing roster.

While full gameplay details were not outlined in the patch overview, her arrival ties directly into the season’s “Monster Kingdom” theme. The update also adds new lore content, including a dedicated Elsa Bloodstone story entry titled Special Delivery.

Season 6.5 further reinforces her introduction through ranked rewards. Players who reach Gold tier this season will unlock the Elsa Bloodstone – Apex Huntress costume, positioning her as a central figure in the competitive grind.

Alongside her release, the update includes a range of themed cosmetics, store bundles, and seasonal events. However, Elsa remains the clear focal point of the patch’s hero content.

Monster Kingdom Championship Explained

Season 6.5 also introduces the first official in-game tournament format: the Monster Kingdom Championship.

Open to all ranks and fully cross-platform, the system allows players to form or join Factions and compete in structured weekend brackets. Teams can enter either Duo (two to three players) or Six-Stack (six to eight players) editions, selecting a Saturday or Sunday slot.

Once registered, Factions play up to five rounds, with their run ending after three wins or three losses. Matchmaking is based on skill and win record, and every victory contributes to seasonal rewards.

Monster Kingdom Championship Rewards

Prizes include Units, Unstable Molecules, exclusive nameplates, and other cosmetic rewards, adding incentives beyond standard matchmaking.

The launch of a dedicated tournament mode marks a significant step in Marvel Rivals’ competitive evolution. It gives players a structured alternative to ranked play while maintaining accessibility across skill levels.

With a new hero at the forefront and a formal competitive framework now live, Season 6.5 represents one of Marvel Rivals’ most substantial mid-season updates to date.
