What’s in the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Collector’s Edition?
The collector’s edition of the latest game from Konami includes the following:
- Mini terrarium based on the opening scene for Virtuous Mission in which Snake must get his equipment back
- Mini Naked Snake figurine and tree stump with hanging bag
- Replica fake ID badge Snake uses to break into Groznyj Grad Northeast in the game
- High-quality stitched FOX UNIT membership patch
- Special rubber patch for Naked Snake’s HALO parachute jump
- Retro-style steelbook game case utilizing original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater cover art
The Tactical Edition has much less available with it. There are pre-order bonuses, but nothing like the extra goodies that come with Metal Gear Collector’s Edition.
Where to Buy?
Amazon is just one outlet that has the Collector’s Edition available, but it’s out of stock temporarily. It’s out of stock at Walmart, too. Target is in the same boat. Best Buy has it as well, and it’s not out of stock. It does cost $200 compared to $70 for the Tactical Edition. You can also find it on the Konami website. It is available at GameStop as well. Be sure to keep an eye on those other outlets, though, as it might be restocked before the game releases this summer. However, it is also advisable to go ahead and pre-order while in stock at other places since there’s no guarantee on a restock.
