Norwegian-based esports organization Metizport is parting ways with Swedish AWPer nawwk.

In an announcement made via their X account, Metizport declared that they will not continue with the player whose contract expires at the end of the year, and they will officially part ways upon the conclusion of his contract.

This marks the end of the short-term deal signed after Metizport benched L00m1 with the intention of transitioning to an international roster. Having not achieved the desired outcome with the Swedish player, the organization’s future remains uncertain.

nawwk played with a 1.01 average rating during his Metizport career, a period in which sufficient success was not achieved.

The organization is set to enter a rebuilding phase for the new year. In their statement, they expressed their desire to return to the top level:

The fall season of 2025 was a big challenge and overall didn’t meet our standards when it comes to performance; we were forced to make necessary adjustments and faced unforeseen circumstances within the roster. All of these combined to hinder our ability to get good results both online and offline.

Despite all of this, we are one hundred percent committed to getting back to where we belong, competing at a high level, and becoming part of the Major cycle again in 2026.

nawwk will remain under contract with Metizport until the end of the year, but the search for a new AWPer has already begun.
