The final day of the MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2024 Playoffs concluded today. Four female teams competed in the Semifinals, from where only two advanced into the Grand Finals to fight for the trophy.
The Esports World Cup MLBB Women’s Invitational 2024 is the largest all-female esports tournament in history. It’s being held in Riyadh and boasts a massive $500,000 prize pool.

Team Vitality and Omega Empress reach Grand Finals
The Semifinal matchups of the MLBB Women’s Invitational 2024 were Team Vitality vs Falcons Vega and Victory Song Gamers vs Omega Empress.
In the first series, Team Vitality started on a strong note by winning the first game quite comfortably. Although Falcons Vega managed to secure a win in the next match to equalize the series, Vitality bounced back to take back-to-back two games. This allowed Vitality to book their spot in the Grand Finals.
The second MWI 2024 semifinal series was more of a one-sided show as Omega Empress crushed their opponents Victory Song Gamers. The Filipino powerhouse won three games in a row and advanced to the Grand Finals.
Omega Empress dominates Team Vitality to become MWI 2024 champions
Although many Mobile Legends: Bang Bang fans expected an intense series between the two grand finalists, Omega Empress had other plans. The team continued with its dominant playoff run as they made short work of Vitality.
Similar to the previous semifinal series, Omega Empress again took three games in a row off Team Vitality and became the MLBB Women’s Invitational 2024 champions.
All five players of the Omega Empress female squad performed exceptionally today. While Meraaay and Amoree helped the team cruise over the semifinals with their performances, Ayanami, Keishi, and Shinoa shined with their brilliant performances in the Grand Finals.
With the completion of the MWI tournament, the MLBB schedule at the Esports World Cup 2024 concludes.
