The latest Mortal Kombat 1 patch notes are here! A new update has come to the game, right in time for Halloween. This fighting game is getting some extra content. However, unlike some of the other current major fighters, we’re getting frequent balancing patches. That’s along with brand new characters.

Mortal Kombat 1 Patch Notes – July
A new Mortal Kombat 1 patch is here! This latest update is one of our most anticipated. Mortal Kombat 1 patches have been gradually adding more and more features to the game. This latest patch has managed to add yet another new DLC character to the title. This latest update is going to give players plenty of reasons to jump back in and see how the title has developed.
New Character Added
Fresh off a huge tournament at EVO 2024, Mortal Kombat 1 has just had a major expansion. Takeda is the latest character to come in DLC to the title. He’s been anticipated for quite a while and has just been added to these Mortal Kombat 1 patch notes.
Takeda will be available now for those who pre-ordered. Over the next few days, players can take a look at how the character is fairing and decide if they want to pick up the next Mortal Kombat 1 character. There are other new characters added in a smaller way too.
Players can use Ferra as a Kameo starting with the latest Mortal Kombat update. Plus, there are new retro skins for our existing characters that give them a fresh coat of paint.

Other Changes
That’s the new content that’s the bulk of the new Mortal Kombat patch notes. However, the game is getting quite a few major bug fixes too. There are alterations to story mode, fixes for visual problems, and quite a few performance-related problems that have been straightened out.
As usual, we’ve also had quite a few Mortal Kombat 1 balancing changes. While its tournaments haven’t quite risen to the level of Tekken and SF 6, this weekend’s events have shown how much space there is to push Mortal Kombat 1 competitively. More balancing fixes should help to further refine the gameplay.
MK 1 June 27th Patch Notes
A new batch of balance changes is here for the latest Mortal Kombat 1 update. This weekend we’re going to see CEO 2024 take place, so this patch will make things interesting for that tournament.
The Mortal Kombat 1 Patch notes are largely dealing with re-balancing fighters, not adding anything to the game. These are the big alterations so far in this update.

Those are the biggest changes in this set of patch notes. It’s a balancing patch, but we’re still getting more Mortal Kombat 1 DLC characters. The next addition will likely be arriving pretty soon.
Mortal Kombat 1 Patch Notes – Homelander in June Patch
A big new patch has dropped in Mortal Kombat 1. Maybe our biggest addition to the game so far, we’ve got a fresh Mortal Kombat DLC character. Homelander has arrived in MK 1. That’s alongside a handful of other big changes in the update. These are the major alterations.
Homelander
The big addition to this patch is clearly the brand-new character. Homelander, the evil Superman expy from the boys, has come to the roster. He’s one of many similar characters in the first batch of DLC, but he’ll have a fun move set. Homelander will be accessible now for everyone who purchased the character or the DLC pack as a whole.
General Changes
A new DLC character is the center point, but there’s a bit more going on in the patch. There are some general changes to the game as a whole, from gameplay changes that affect everyone to new cosmetics. These are the other new changes with the Mortal Kombat patch notes.

The next big part of this update are balance changes. Rather than taking things gently like we see in Street Fighter 6 patches, MK 1 has had a more intensive approach. The game is getting balancing fixes with basically every patch. We’ve had some major changes for quite a few MK characters, but it’s most heavily hit Geras, Lei Mei, and Ermac.
Those are the big changes with our latest Mortal Kombat 1 patch notes. Getting a new character is always exciting though. Hopefully, Homelander coming will bring players back in to check the title out.
Mortal Kombat 1 March Update
The latest Mortal Kombat patch notes are here, but it’s a bit of a smaller update than we’ve had recently. While the game has just had a new DLC character released, this is a smaller patch aimed at fixing a few aspects. There’s one exciting development in here though, a free trial is coming this weekend.
This current patch has come just after the release of MK 1 Krossplay. That’s currently disabled on some platforms though. It’s simply down for maintenance though. You won’t have to wait until the next update to get it turned back on.
Aside from disabling PC crossplay, what else has changed in this latest patch? These are the major alterations.
Johnny Cage – Down Front Punch has 7 startup frames, Front punch, now 1 on block.
Kenshi – Damage done on block reduced.
Raiden – Damage on Block reduced.
Peacemaker – Force Multiplier fixed. Eagly cooldown now 3 seconds, or 2 after assist.
Kameo Fighters – Kung Lao and stryker cooldown and recharge rates adjusted
Those are the major changes. On the backend, it seems like this update is trying to fix some of the problems with crossplay too. Hopefully, it’s re-enabled on all platforms pretty soon.
New MK 1 Patch Adds Peacemaker
A new Mortal Kombat patch is here! This time we’re finally getting another new DLC character. Peacemaker has joined the roster with the latest release. They’re not the only major change to the game though. These are all of the alterations in the latest Mortal Kombat 1 patch.
Peacemaker Added
One of the biggest parts of this new patch is the new DLC. Peacemaker has been added to the game. Anyone who bought the full Kombat Pack will get access now! If you’re purchasing him solo though, it’s a bit of a wait. He won’t release individually until March 6th. You’ll likely start to see Peacemaker popping up in games now though.
Kossplay Activated
The other major addition is a long-awaited quality-of-life feature. Mortal Kombat crossplay is here! The feature will allow players to compete against other platforms on PS5, Xbox, and PC. It isn’t available for the Switch version though.
Other Changes
Those are the big new additions. This isn’t the only changes though. There are balancing changes here too, including some much-needed buffts to Quan Chi. We’ve seen some additional skins added and some changes to online systems too.

In terms of how our characters have been balanced, things are a bit more complicated. MK 1 Patch notes haven’t been released in full. However, some players have noticed these as some of the more major changes.
Cyrax – Horizontal Kopter Chopper consumes a whole bar.
Baraka – Does less damage
Scorpion – Aerial puts opponents in a different state, making some combos impossible.
Raiden – Damage Reduced
Sub-Zero – Ice clone nerfed
Those are some of the bigger changes found so far. These have the potential to shake things up for MK 1 Tier Lists as they impact how well some of the characters perform in this patch.
First Mortal Kombat Patch
Mortal Kombat 1 patch notes have just been released for the latest update to the game! Although, beyond just tweaking a few little areas, we’ve got our first round of balancing changes. Characters have been mixed up and changed, which could mean major differences from how everything looked in the beginning of the game thanks to key move fixes. What’s changed with the Mortal Kombat 1 patch notes for October?
The current patch was originally supposed to drop last week but saw a delay. We’re now fully getting the new MK 1 patch notes. These have altered some characters. However, they’re also delivering some important fixes and annoying bugs have been resolved. While the Switch version might not be quite there yet, most versions of the game are receiving some major fixes with these latest Mortal Kombat 1 patch notes. This is everything that’s changed at the moment.

Big changes in the current Mortal Kombat patch notes are coming for most of the characters in the game, but more specifically for the High Parry Special Moves. These have seen changes and fixes nearly across the board. We’ve also gotten some important bug fixes too.

Character Changes
One of the more exciting parts of early MK 1 patch notes has to be character balancing changes. These are the alterations we’ve seen so far.
Ashrash – Crushing Knee no longer passes through opponents.
Havik – Back Punch, Front Punch doesn’t auto face anymore.
Kung Lao – Auto-facing fixed.
Kameos – Shukinko, Jax, and Goro have all been adjusted.
Along with more general character changes, we’ve seen wider fixes to the High Parry Special Moves. These had some bugs across the board with a parry. These have all been fixed up for the latest Mortal Kombat 1 patch notes.
Those are all of the big changes so far. These are fixes that improve how the game plays across the board. This update is available for every platform but the Nintendo Switch, which is still waiting for its own bigger fixes. This will likely be coming with a larger MK 1 patch notes further down the line. For now, these are the changes we’ve had so far. The move fixes in particular should be useful in upcoming fighting game esports events fixing broken moves.
