Overwatch has gotten its latest Hero revealed. The shooter already has a lively cast, but this latest addition is coming after a bit of a gap in new characters. For the launch of the next season, Juno will arrive in the game proper. However, fans have an early chance to ty them out this weekend.
For recent heroes, Blizzard has taken this trial approach. This character gets its reveal and all of the hype that goes along with it. Like learning their abilities and getting a feel for how they’ll play in the game. However, trying them out would normally take a little longer. More recently, test weekends have come with new Overwatch Heroes. This works in two ways.
The first, is that it allows players to try out one of the most exciting updates. It’s always new Heroes that make the most interesting Overwatch news. The second is that it gives Blizzard an idea of how well balanced the hero is. Live games with real players always seems more helpful, so the test weekend can make sure Juno is dialled in by the time they’re added in full.
New Overwatch Hero Juno – Fresh Abilities
A new hero is exciting if you keep track of lore or details like Overwatch Hero ages. However, for actual gameplay, their abilities are the deciding factor. For Juno, these have been announced.

Weapon – Standard weapon Is a submachine gun that heals teammates while damaging opponents.
Glide – A boost and glide to help mobility.
Pulsar Torpedoes – An attack which locks onto allies and heals them, while damaging opponents.
Hyper Ring – A portal that provides a speed boost.
Orbital Ray – A beam that blasts from the sky.
These abilities mean Juno has potential to heal and hurt, but also some mobility options. They’ll be playable through July 21, so players have plenty of time to test them out.
