OG has officially confirmed the roster it will be fielding until at least the end of 2024 as per an announcement post yesterday (Oct. 19). The storied Dota 2 organization outlined some significant changes, including the stepping down (for now) of long-time support and team captain Sébastien “Ceb” Debs from the roster.

As per earlier announcements, new additions Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon and Leon “Nine” Kirilin will be joining the roster in the Carry and Solo Mid positions. They join existing staples Adrián “Wisper” Dobles and Matthew “Ari” Walker in the three and four position.

Yesterday’s announcement also revealed that Yap “xNova” Jian Wei and Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann would be joining the roster on a trial basis, as five position support and coach respectively. The trial would mean that long-time OG anchor Ceb would be stepping away from his adopted five position.

xNova rose to prominence over the past few years one of the best dota 2 supports in the SEA region, heading to The International as a member of both Royal Never Give Up in 2022 and Invictus gaming in 2024. Now the Malaysian support heads to OG to take his first western european roster spot.

KheZu is a long-time Dota player who made the switch from Heroes of Newerth in late 2015 as an offlane player. After an extensive career, in 2022 he made the move towards becoming an analyst and commentator, and since then has appeared at The International and numerous DreamLeague and ESL events.

The announcement also indicated that Indji “Shad” Lub would be standing in for OG during the upcoming RES Regional Champions event in place of 23savage, who is still working on his European visa. Shad, a long-time Tier 2 carry, recently stood-in with Tundra Esports during PGL Wallachia Season 2, helping that organization to a third-place finish.

TThe new roster reveal also ended with a message to fans: “We appreciate our fans’ loyalty as we work towards finalizing our line-up for the upcoming season.” OG’s roster confirmation seemingly ends, at least for now, a tumultuous post-TI roster shuffle for the organization.
