The main stage is scheduled for April 12 and 13. With only 16 teams to remain after the long qualifiers and prelims stage, anyone could take the trophy home. Before we dive in, it is quite important to note that nature of battle royale esports is very unpredictable. And given we have the new Smash Rule incorporated in the main event format, it won’t be surprising to some shocking outcomes.
Teams you must keep an eye out for in PMGO 2025
1. LGD Gaming – A Chinese Powerhouse

Founded in 2009, LGD Gaming has established a PUBG Mobile legacy of greatness with a tournament prize haul of more than USD 2.37 million, according to Liquipedia.
Representing China, LGD has a rich roster that mixes veteran players with up-and-coming stars. The team’s systematic play can be seen through their regular top placements in almost every season of Peacekeeper Elite League.
Prominent player profiles are “MvM” and “凌杀,” whose plays have been crucial in critical situations. Moreover, LGD Gaming’s coaching team—headed by Wang “冰眼” and Qiu “谈秋”—will be instrumental in planning rotations and aggressive early game strategies, a strategy that optimizes their scoring potential under the “smash rule” format.
While Chinese teams always pack the punch, we are yet to see any team from the region to seize the global throne in recent times. Maybe that can change in the PMGO 2025.
2. 4Merical Vibes – The Regional Disruptors To Look Out For In The PMGO 2025

First founded in 2020 as Vibes Esports, 4Merical Vibes is a Nepalese team that now competes from the Mongolian region. With tournament winnings of USD 560,875 to their name, 4Merical Vibes consistently surprises with innovative in-game tactics and quick adjustment.
The team consists of long time MVP runners like Mongolia’s B4RON, TOP and DOK, as well PMGC champions like Zyol. Each of these players have proved their wit time and time again in multiple South Asia championships with a long list of MVP accolades, even in PMGC.
The team has been known to show bewildering aggression in regional championships, yet tactics in international skirmishes have always been too defensive. This has denied them international titles with close finishes.
But the back-to-back PMSL – Central and South Asia Spring 2024 champions will of course remain a serious contender given how much of international esports experience the talents have.
3. Nigma Galaxy MEA – A Global Contender from the Middle East

Originally founded in 2019 and joining with Galaxy Racer in 2021, Nigma Galaxy is a powerhouse from the growing Middle Eastern region. With earnings of more than USD 1.1 million, the organization has built a strong identity on the local and global circuit.
Their lineup, which includes prominent veterans like RAOUF, Narvalow, REDOX, and Snowix that integrates global talent with sophisticated tactical coordination. A 3rd-place finish at the PMGC 2024 re-solidified their reputation on the world stage. And with same roster intact for PMGO 2025, this time they might go all the way.
But no one can predict for sure who will take the ace once the 12 games culminate. Needless to mention that we also have some wildcards like host country qualifiers champion like Hellion Gaming from Uzbekistan in the main event already. It can be anyone’s game.
