After a catastrophic day one of the Skyesports Championship 2024, the tournament has managed to turn around to complete an action-packed Group Stage. It’s been a great comeback for the event, after it looked as though several teams might drop out after day one.

Six teams are locked in after the last few days of competitive CS2 action, and we’re taking a look at a few of the teams who made it through in the Skyesports Championship 2024 – and some who didn’t.

Aurora and Eternal Fire Semi-Finals bound

With impressive Group Stage performances, both Aurora and Eternal Fire have locked themselves into a Semi-Final berth at the Skyesports Championship 2024 by topping their respective groups. Eternal Fire won every single match in Group B, while Aurora only came unstuck against The MongolZ.

For Eternal Fire, we’ve seen blowout performances from the likes of woxic and XANTARES. They’re the big stars of this EF roster, and they’ve come up clutch in Mumbai, reminding the world what they’re capable of on the server. Aurora looked to IGL Norwi for inspiration throughout the Group Stage, with the team’s caller being the difference-maker here. A 30-bomb against ENCE is the highlight, but he’s been fantastic throughout so far.

BLEED fail to qualify for Playoffs

We had BLEED down as one of the favorites to win the Skyesports Championship 2024. However, they fell at the first hurdle in Mumbai, after being sent home from the Group Stage with 9 points. While this is equal with ENCE and The MongolZ in Group A, the sorting by Round Difference means close wins and huge losses ended up costing BLEED.

If BLEED were to point fingers, underperformance from nexa and CYPHER wasn’t ideal across the tournament. After being kicked from G2, we expected nexa’s form to see a huge upswing in BLEED against Tier 2 opposition. That is yet to transpire, but he’ll definitely be given time to adapt to his new team.

Uninspiring ENCE scrape through

ENCE managed to secure themselves a place in the Quarter-Finals of the Skyesports Championship 2024, but it wasn’t pretty. They managed to get through on Round Difference, pipping BLEED to the post. Still, they won’t be too pleased, as they should be among the favorites and realistically, winning just about every match.

Indivually, ENCE have had some strong performers in Mumbai. Kylar, sdy, and podi have all been solid, so it’s just gla1ve and Goofy who need to step up if we’re to see ENCE take home the Skyesports Championship 2024 title.

The full list of teams qualified for the Playoffs of the Skyesports Championship 2024 is as follows:

Quarter-Finals

The MongolZ
ENCE
3DMAX
AMKAL

Semi-Finals

Aurora
Eternal Fire
