We’re gearing up for a fresh patch for Street Fighter 6. The big headline change is the addition of a new fighter but there’s more planned. While Street Fighter 6 has a light touch for balancing changes, two new SF 6 QoL changes are planned in the upcoming patch. This is going to be a big improvement to general gameplay in Street Fighter 6.

The next SF 6 patch notes will add another DLC character. We also don’t really get balancing changes in these updates too. However, there are some exciting other new additions we’re expecting. What are the SF 6 QoL planned to come in the fight update?

New SF 6 QoL Changes Coming

The next path for Street Fighter is introducing two brand-new features. These include messing with Replay to make Street Fighter 6’s replay capabilities the best in competitive fighting games.

One addition is called Replay Takeover, similar to something in other changes. While watching a replay you can step in to try something out. Turning the replay into a proper match. It’s a useful tool for seeing how a different option could have played out. The takeover feature is going to make it easier to trial and error your way to greater skill in Street Fighter 6. It’s always fun seeing new innovations on fighting game standards like this.

The next of the new SF 6 QoL Replay changes is Virtual Rival. It’s a new addition to Versus matches where you can build and train up an AI opponent to compete against. It’s a bit more nuanced than normal matches against bots. It should provide more of a challenge when you’re just playing offline.

These two new changes are going to be arriving in about a month, September 24th. This is also when we’ll see Terry Bogard added to Street Fighter 6. This will be our major patch for quite a while but there’s big improvements coming here.
