You’ve come to the right place if you’re wondering which VALORANT skins are the best. There are hundreds of skins to choose from in VALORANT, all varying in price. And while using skins won’t make you one of the best VALORANT players out there, at least you’ll look fabulous while missing all your shots!
So, which skins are the best? Stay tuned to this article to discover the ten best skins in VALORANT today, in no particular order.
Arcane Sheriff
There’s no better place to start than one of the rarest skins in the game, Arcane Sheriff. Wondering how can you get the skin? We’re sorry to say it but you can’t. This pistol was available in 2021 to celebrate the release of the hit LoL animated series – Arcane.
Reaver Vandal
Although we haven’t ranked the VALORANT weapons on this list, the Reaver Vandal would, without a doubt, be at the top of the list for the best value skins. It’s simply stunning, from how the gun appears, to how it feels when firing. This gun has it all. This is the skin I run for the Vandal and I haven’t found a need to replace it yet.
The Reaver kill sound is also one of the more satisfying.
Recon Phantom
If the Reaver dominates the game for the Vandal, the Recon Phantom takes the biscuit here. While the gun audio remains the same, everything else about the skin feels fantastic. Firstly, it feels incredibly clean when firing, which cannot be said for other Phantom skins. Even the classic Call of Duty players will also take a liking to this skin, as the weapon has different variants, including one that somewhat resembles the Red Tiger camo.
Sovereign Ghost
Moving away from the Rifles, the Sovereign Ghost is one of the smoothest looking skins in the game. Everyone needs a good pistol skin, and while skins may not increase performance, they are known to boost players’ confidence over the general base skins. Sovereign is unlike the other skins on this list. The skin gives off higher power vibes, with its fire audio at a slightly higher pitch, its kill sound, and the weapon drenched in beautiful gold.
Prime Vandal
The Prime Vandal is one of the best val skins around. The gun offers a futuristic twist compared to other skins on this list, as the gun sprays lasers instead of bullets.
Before anyone asks, this skin is not associated with the delivery brand Amazon.
For me, only the original variant is nice. The gold gives it the status it deserves in comparison to the blue, orange, and yellow variants.
Neo Frontier Sheriff
If there is a Sheriff skin to purchase, it is this one. I call this the “Fallout” gun because one of the variants looks and feels like a weapon you would use in one of those games, along with the color scheme being the same.
If the futuristic revolver isn’t your style, you can opt for the classic revolver look.
Prelude to Chaos Vandal
Although the Reaver Vandal is the most popular skin in the game, there is an argument to be made about the Prelude to Chaos Vandal. If you are a headshot machine, this is the skin for you. The feel of one-tapping enemies with this skin is unparalleled. It also has one of the coolest kill sounds out there, and it looks incredible and different from most Vandal skins out there.
Araxys Operator
Finally the Sniper players are getting some love, and this is where the Araxys Operator comes into the equation. This skinline is almost alien like in the sense the weapon is crafted as you equip it, making alien-like sounds as it happens.
The best variant in my opinion is the black and red version, it is a color scheme that is hard to beat.
Glitchpop Bulldog
On the anti-eco, the Bulldog is one of the better guns to use. Therefore, you are going to need a cool skin to go with it. The Rifle Glitchpop skins are not as popular, simply due to the number of good skins Riot has produced, but having the Glitchpop on the Bulldog will help you fill that void if you are a big fan of the skinline.
Prime Classic
Skins are not performance enhancers, but the best VAL skins can have a weird placebo effect. This is the case with the Prime Classic. I have found myself winning gunfights against rifles with this skin. It is clean, and the gun sound is not as loud as the base classic, which allows for more focused shots. This definitely deserves a place on the best val skins list.
