TheShy is one of the most popular Korean esports talents in the world. During his time as a professional player, he played League of Legends. He is famous for his time at Weibo Gaming in the community. Back in 2023, he had his best-performing year. Last year, his team finished 2nd in the League of Legends World Championship. They lost to T1 3-0 in the infamous match, with Faker winning his 4th LoL World Championship. During the VCT CN Showmatch, TheShy was a part of the DXYJ team. The team consisted of the likes of NvmoW, YJJ, Guo Ailun, TheShy, and Yaylian. During tshis match played on the new map of Abyss, TheShy showed his skills in VALORANT by selecting Jett. During the 23rd round of the game, TheShy performed an incredible spray transfer in mid to get a clean 3K on that map.

Following this performance, many fans online have jokingly asked teams within the VCT CN league to give TheShy a VALORANT esports contract. While this won’t happen, seeing TheShy compete in a new game was certainly refreshing for fans.
