The Thunderpick WC 2024 SA qualifiers are nearing their conclusion, with just four teams left in the running now. We’re looking at the results of the Quarter-Finals, where the favorites in each clash progressed.
paiN and Fluxo set up Semi-Final clash

On one side of the bracket, paiN and Fluxo have been matched together. These teams are arguably the two favorites in the Thunderpick WC 2024 South American qualifier, so you have to imagine that whoever wins out of these two will go on to win the entire event.
Their opponents in the Quarter-Finals were Bounty Hunters (paiN) and Sharks (Fluxo) and neither could test the favorites in any way, shape, or form. The closest these ties were to being competitive was an Overtime map in Fluxo vs. Sharks, but even there, the favorites finished the job. Players like nqz and chayJESUS played a starring role for paiN and Fluxo respectively, and with both teams in fine form, it sets up what is sure to be a thrilling contest between the two.
RED Canids and BESTIA get the job done

On the other side of the bracket, we find two underdogs left in the Thunderpick WC 2024 SA qualifier: RED Canids and BESTIA. Both teams got their Quarter-Final matches against Case and KRÜ done in two maps, in similarly non-competitive affairs.
The Brazilian vs. Argentian storyline makes RED Canids vs. BESTIA a compelling matchup. Both are yet to drop a map in the entire event, but on pure quality alone, we’ve got to give the edge to RED Canids. With firepower like dav1deuS, venomzera, and coldzera at their disposal, they should have more than enough to make it through the Semi-Finals. Do they have enough in the tank to become Thunderpick WC 2024 qualifier winners and beat out some of the favorites? We’re not sure, but we’re excited to see what happens.
