Two Point Studios, creators of Theme Hospital inspired Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus, have unveiled their latest creation, Two Point Museum. The latest entry into the series was revealed via an announcement trailer posted on August 14 on the company’s official YouTube channel.

Developed by Two Point Studios, and published by SEGA, Two Point Museum will put players in control of managing various antiquarian locations with the signature humor and charm that’s come to be expected from the series.

While details are slim, the potential exhibits seem to include dinosaurs, cavemen, aquariums and geological structures, and perhaps more besides. Our analysis of the trailer seemed to spy facilities for employees to maintain aquariums in scuba costumes, security guards (perhaps your exhibits can be stolen by thieves?).

The game also seems to crib some notes from the Jurassic Park and Zoo Tycoon games with the potential to send researchers on missions to retrieve new exhibits.

And of course, there appears to be potential for mishaps, from exhibits coming to life, to other disasters. This could be the closest we ever get to a Night at the Museum game…

Honestly, there’s just a lot to be excited about if you’re a fan of the previous Two Point games. Two Point Hospital (which is currently 80% off on Steam at the time of writing) released back in 2018, and was a spiritual sequel to the classic Theme Hospital game which many of us ended up with as a core memory thanks to Scholastic Book Fairs and the like.

Two Point Campus, the company’s 2022 follow-up, stepped into new grounds, exploring a niche tycoon genre that really only some of The Sims expansions, and a few mobile games had ventured into.

However, the Two Point games have also seen criticism for leaning into the “loads of DLC” business model reminiscent of a Paradox Interactive game. Two Point Hospital currently has 12 additional DLCs, and Campus has four. We wouldn’t be surprised to see plenty more for the Two Point Museum.

Still, if you’re a Two Point fanatic, there’s likely nothing that’s going to dampen your spirits over this announcement. The game currently doesn’t have a solid release date, but you can wishlist it on Steam now.
