VALORANT recently announced all the changes and improvements for the upcoming Patch 9.10 update in a video released on all their social platforms. But there was one detail that Riot Games seems to have forgotten to hide in the video. VALORANT might have leaked a prototype of Agent 27.
VALORANT Agent 27 Could Have Been Leaked

Patch 9.10 is the upcoming update within VALORANT. This patch includes buffs and nerfs to multiple agents within the game and introduces a new shield called the regen shield. To learn more about the changes in Patch 9.10, VALORANT uploaded a video on all its social platforms. Many eagle-eyed viewers spotted a new agent within the game.
In the video, as spotted by VALORANT Updates at 0:42, players can spot a new agent in the agent select menu. Currently, other than the agent’s icon, there isn’t much information shared about the VALORANT Agent 27.
It must be stated that VALORANT has followed a pattern since the last few years of the game. During each VCT international tournament, either a new agent or a new map is released within the game. In 2024, we saw the launch of Clove during VCT Masters Madrid and Vyse during VALORANT Champions 2024.
It does look like this new agent will be released during the first VCT Masters event in 2025, which is slated to take place in Bangkok. Fans can expect there to be 2 new agents and a map released during 2025, as well as the long-awaited VALORANT mobile.
Don’t forget that VALORANT is launching a new skin bundle called Combat Crafts. Within this, players can obtain the cardboard variants of some of their favorite skins in the game.
Is the leak the new Agent 27?
While the dev video by Riot Games did reveal an image which doesn’t resemble any other agent in the game currently, it’s not confirmed that this is what the new agent will look like. It could also be a placeholder.
