Riot Games has released the patch notes for VALORANT 9.03 and the primary focus is on ground-spreading and map-targeted abilities. Additionally, the beloved map Pearl is now available in Unrated and Swift Play queues for console players. So, without any further ado, here’s a quick rundown of the VALORANT 9.03 patch notes.
VALORANT 9.03 Patch Notes for all platforms
General Updates
Improved how overlapping interactable objects work. Actions should now be performed more consistently.
Example: A dart from Cypher’s Spycam should no longer prevent you from attaching to a rope if you’re directly looking at it.
Agent Updates
Improvements made to abilities that spread along the ground (e.g., Brimstone’s Incendiary, Viper’s Snakebite). These abilities should now spread more consistently and only apply damage in locations consistent with the visuals.
Additional icons can now be pinged and seen on maps used for ability targeting.
Affected Abilities: Brimstone’s Sky Smoke, Orbital Strike, Clove’s Ruse, Omen’s From The Shadows.
