If there was any debate over whether Falcons are here to stay, reaching their third consecutive Final (second with m0NESY on the roster) should settle things for good. A 2:0 win over MOUZ at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 marks their second clean sweep victory over the team in a week, both of which happened on different continents. One in Oceania (IEM Melbourne), the other in Europe.

That deadly duo of m0NESY and NiKo look as potent as they ever did on G2, but now, you could argue the supporting cast is stronger than they ever had before. It’s clear that Falcons’ run at BLAST Rivals Spring is no fluke, and with more practice, they’ll only get better. For now, a third consecutive Grand Final awaits the team, with a rematch of the IEM Melbourne 2025 Grand Final around the corner.

Vitality make short work of Spirit

The BLAST Rivals Spring Semi-Finals were ultimately a day of quick matches, with Vitality also dispatching Spirit from the event in a 2:0 series. The score of 13:8 on the opening map doesn’t tell the tale of how one-sided it was, with Vitality initially claiming an 11:1 lead at the half, leaving Spirit with an impossible mountain to climb. Any comeback was purely cosmetic, and while the 13:9 scoreline on the second map was genuinely a little more competitive, the end result always felt like a foregone conclusion.

This now extends Vitality’s legendary winning streak to 24, officially beating 2019’s Team Liquid. While NIP’s 87-0 streak feels pretty much impossible, the question now turns to just how many matches they can win in a row. Still, the most dominant team in the modern era of Counter-Strike are going to yet another Grand Final at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025.
