Rumors persist that another Fortnite Marvel battle pass could arrive in Chapter 5 Season 4. Season 4, historically, has often been about superheroes. Most notable, of course, is the Chapter 2 Season 4 battle pass which was entirely Marvel-themed.
While there have been more non-Marvel battle passes than the themed ones, it’s something fans enjoyed and something they’re looking forward to in the upcoming season. If Chapter 5 Season 4 debuts on August 16 and there are comic book characters galore, here’s who could still be included.

Fortnite Marvel Battle Pass Options
Unfortunately, the list of Marvel characters that Fortnite can still use is pretty slim. In all likelihood, they will have to use a few while supplanting with other original skins. This is something they do often, which is how they spread out the collaborations. Putting them all in one removes the option to use them down the line, thus limiting options. After so many years, there aren’t all that many characters left.
They would need about eight Marvel skins, one of which would be the secret skin that unlocks at the midway point of the season. They can’t use Spider-Man, Wolverine, Deadpool, Loki, Thor, Iron Man, Thanos, Ant-Man, Gambit, Nick Fury, Star-Lord, Groot, Doctor Strange, the Green Goblin, Silver Surfer, the Hulk, and so many others. Epic Games could use some of these characters, though:

Johnny Storm
Winter Soldier
Red Hulk
Mr. Fantastic
Vision
Colossus
Quicksilver
Nightcrawler
Black Cat
Sandman
There are a lot of options since Marvel has a massive backlog of characters, but Epic Games could eventually run out of relevant ones to use for a Fortnite Marvel battle pass.
Nevertheless, there are some choices. With the X-Men being both a massive team and growing in popularity right now due to Deadpool & Wolverine and X-Men 97, a crossover there could be perfect and relevant. Either way, this is just a rumor, so there might not be a battle pass or even a single collaboration next season.
