At the moment Fortnite is closing up Chapter 5, but all eyes aren’t on the impending Chapter 6. Instead, everyone is counting down the days until Fortnite OG 2 returns, this time known as Fortnite Remix. When is Fortnite OG 2 coming back? We have a good idea of when we can expect the next new season to begin.

Fortnite OG 2 is set to take us back to the second Chapter. Not the earliest days of Fortnite like last November. However, the Fortnite seasons we’re revisiting still haven’t been seen in quite a long time. We’re heading back to Fortnite’s second island, with Midas, Meowscles, Ghost, Shadow, everything players remember. When exactly is OG Fortnite coming back though?

When is Fortnite OG 2?

Fortnite OG 2, or Remix, will begin on November 2nd.

This is when the current Fortnite season ends, just a little after the big live event planned for November 1st. Once this is done, the game will go offline for downtime. We’ll then expect OG Fortnite coming back as soon as that down time is done. If you’re hoping to jump in and play immediately though, you’ll have to be quick.

Fortnite OG’s last season saw record player numbers for Fortnite (which were then broken by Chapter 5). Players were faced with a sizeable queue for the first few days of the season. Something that returned pretty frequently in the month thanks to increased interest.

Fortnite OG 2 is going to revisit the earliest seasons of Chapter 2 These seasons were record length, and happening during the Covid pandemic it was when a lot of players time spent playing Fortnite peaked. It’ll be great to revisit these nostalgic seasons.

That’s when is Fortnite OG 2, although it’s now going by Remix. While gameplay seems to be the same, the Remixed Fortnite skins are likely where that name comes from.
