It’s been one of Fortnite’s worst-kept secrets that November won’t see a Chapter 5 Season 5, but another round of Fortnite OG. This time, it’s Fortnite Chapter 2 being revisited, according to teases apparently under the name Fortnite Remix! When is the Fortnite Remix release date and what can we expect?

Epic’s plans for Fortnite have been less secretive than normal in 2024. We always get Fortnite leaks, but this year we saw the entire roadmap leaked, which meant we’ve known where Chapter 5 was heading since its first season. Fortnite OG Chapter 2 will take us back to the second map used for Battle Royale.

Since we know the current season’s end date, we know exactly when the Fortnite Remix release date is. We even have a decent idea of what the update schedule for this flashback is going to be.

When is the Fortnite Remix Release Date?

This week, Epic has begun to tease the next big content drop for Fortnite. If the return of Chapter 2 was still a secret, this might have been a huge surprise! However, the secret’s been out for quite a while and this week’s teases seem to have confirmed it.

When exactly can we expect it to be released in the game properly? The current end date for Chapter 5 Season 4 is November 2nd, this is when we’re expecting to move over.

This is likely the Fortnite Remix release date too, November 2nd.

The original Chapter 2 began with the Black Hole event which took Fortnite offline for quite a while. This time we expect a more normal handover. But there will still be quite a bit of downtime as we move towards a major update.

It’s also possible we’ll see quite a lot more players when the current Fortnite season ends. This will mean a queue is possible. For the last OG launch, this queue got pretty big. If you want to make sure you can play on the Fortnite Remix release date, you’ll need to get in there on time just as it releases.
