Everything you need to know about the Marvel Rivals xQc Invitational Tournament

On the April 20 live stream, the Twitch and Kick star officially unveiled the project.

“Chat, I’ve been working on this for months now… it’s finally happening. May 9th—put it on your schedule. xQc Marvel’s Invitational, $250k prize pool,” he said.

This will mark the first major tournament organized and headlined by xQc. The Canadian streamer confirmed that a bunch of high-profile streamers will be joining the action. Although names are still under wraps.

“Yeah, it’s going to be a bunch of, like, other streamers and other people, and I’m running it. I hope I can make it a good, balanced, and cool event.”

The tournament will be broadcasted live on xQc’s Twitch channel. And fans can also expect a unique twist. Felix hinted that he might play and cast the matches simultaneously.

“I might do a kind of a dual production thing where, like, I’m trying to win as well… and if I’m out or not, I can cast the other games,” he said.

This isn’t just another “watch me play” stream. xQc’s taking full creative control—he’s hosting, funding, playing, commentating—and that’s rare. For the Marvel Rivals scene, it’s one of the first big competitive events, so the stakes are high. And for viewers, it’s a front-row ticket to streamer-driven production. Love him or hate him, xQc’s career has been anything but boring—here’s the full story.

Fans can catch the action on May 9, 2025, exclusively on xQc’s Twitch channel.

The xQc Invitational is strictly an invitational event featuring select streamers and content creators chosen by xQc himself. There is no open registration for the general public to join this specific tournament. For players eager to break into the competitive scene, Marvel Rivals runs a Seasonal Championship structure with a series of open qualifiers.

Leaks have also revealed there is an upcoming Marvel Rivals PlayStation Cup Tournament series.
