Now that the LEC 2024 Summer Split is over, here is everything you need to know ahead of the Season Finals, which will determine who goes to Worlds.
LEC 2024 Season Finals – Teams and Schedule
Below are the six teams that have qualified for the 2024 LEC Season Finals (ordered by seeding):
#1 – G2 Esports
#2 – Fnatic
#3 – Team BDS
#4 – MAD Lions KOI
#5 – SK Gaming
#6 – GIANTX
The LEC 2024 Summer Split saw G2 Esports take the crown for the third split running, sweeping Fnatic in the finals with a 3-0 record and getting a direct qualification to Worlds 2024.
Despite the win, however, the score didn’t really do much justice to FNC, who were ahead in gold for all three games and throwing heavily in key moments of the game.
That said, they were the only team to beat G2 in a Bo5, showing that the team has potential and it’s always a matter of how the guys perform on stage.
In third place, there is Team BDS, which has been probably the most consistent team throughout the season aside from G2. They’ve been fighting in the top half of the standings, earning plenty of points in the three splits. If they are able to keep up the performance, they might have what it takes to qualify for Worlds once again.
MDK, on the other hand, are the big question mark of this Season Finals. They had a poor summer split but still managed to qualify given their strong Winter and decent Spring results. Unfortunately, they looked the worst among the six teams qualified, which raises concerns.
SK Gaming and GIANTX were able to qualify for the Season Finals and they might be dark horses in this final spurt. The potential is there: it’s just a matter of whether they can show their best performance when it counts.
