Twitch’s most-watched esports games in 2025 were once again led by familiar names, with long-established competitive titles accounting for the majority of viewership on the platform – and one shock entrant in the top 5 that many fans won’t expect.
According to the latest data, Counter-Strike and League of Legends finished the year as Twitch’s two biggest esports by total hours watched, continuing a trend that has held steady across recent seasons, flanked by the expected titles. Here are all the details.

Counter-Strike and League of Legends Dominate Again
As per statistics from Esports Charts, Counter-Strike was once again the number one most-watched esport game on Twitch, with over 372m hours watched. League of Legends followed just behind at 307m, followed by Dota 2 some way off at 213m, then Valorant at 185m.
However, the highest peak viewership was for League of Legends, which hit 166 million peak concurrent viewers, with LoL Worlds 2025 the biggest esports event of the year.

Rainbow Six Siege in Top 5 Most Watched
The surprise entrant in the 2025 most-watched list, however, was Ubisoft’s first-person shooter Rainbow Six Siege.
Admittedly, it was some way off the top four: with fourth-placed Valorant at 185m hours watched, Siege came in at fifth with a comparatively minuscule 34.76m hours watched – over 150 million hours’ difference.
Ubisoft will be hoping to capitalize on that success, though, and are aiming to start 2026 with a bang; the Six Invitational starts on February 2, 2026, and they’re offering a number of Twitch viewership rewards for viewers across all stages of the tournament.
Whether it can hold that top five spot throughout 2026 remains to be seen, especially with more tournaments being announced, such as the Esports Nations Cup, which could give other titles a little boost just as the year reaches its end.
