With numerous levels of verticality, Vertigo is one of the most interesting CS2 maps. As of January 2025, Vertigo has recently been removed from the competitive map pool, after five years as a staple. That said, if it’s one of your favorite maps, it’s still worth keeping up with the CS2 Vertigo callouts. Check all of them out below!
If you’re going to win your CS2 matches, then communication is key. Don’t be caught out not knowing your positions – there’s nothing more frustrating than a teammate claiming an enemy is “over there.” That’s not a real call.
Vertigo CS2 CT callouts
Whenever you’re playing on CT, these are some of the CS2 Vertigo callouts that you absolutely need to know.
- B Stairs
- B Main
- Bottom Mid
- Top Ladder
- Generator
- Boost
- Sidehall
- Scaffolding
- Top Ramp
- Big Box
You won’t use all of these callouts every round, but these are all locations where T-side players are likely to come from. Once you know, your teammates need to know, too.
Vertigo CS2 T callouts
The list of CS2 Vertigo callouts on the T-side are completely different. These are:
- Quad
- Triple
- Electric
- Lift
- B Site
- Con
- Elevator
- Heaven
- Sandbags
- Short
- Mid
As you enter the bombsites, CTs will likely be hidden away, trying to find a better angle to attack you from. The above callouts cover the majority of these spots, ensuring you can communicate with your team quickly and effectively.
So you know exactly where these points lie on Vertigo, we’ve made two callout maps below so you can actually see where you’re referring to. The first covers the upper level of the map, while the second covers the bottom!
Vertigo Upper Callouts Map
Vertigo Lower Callouts Map
Even though Vertigo is on its way out of CS2 Premier, it’s still worth remembering that it will eventually come back. At this point, it’s something of a staple Counter-Strike map, so it doesn’t hurt to keep on top of the callouts for when it does return. If Valve makes any more changes to CS2 Vertigo in the future, there’s always a chance that the callouts will change among the community. If they do, we’ll be sure to keep this map updated!
