The much-anticipated COD Mobile KRAI battle royale map is finally right around the corner and if you’ve been looking for what major locations it will feature, you’ve come to the right place. In the official trailer, the developers revealed that the KRAI map is going to be larger than Alcatraz and smaller than Blackout in terms of size and it has been designed for both close-quarters MP and long-range BR players.
All major locations in COD Mobile KRAI
The KRAI battle royale map has been officially confirmed to feature the five major POIs. While three of them have been sourced from the canceled Ural Mountains Warzone map, the rest appears to be exclusively developed for COD Mobile:
Principia Sanatorium
Description: The Principia Sanatorium, as the poster implies, once stood gracefully by the shore and offered both crisp air and picturesque views to its inhabitants. That is, it would have, if it ever had any inhabitants. There are rumors no one was ever able to secure a spot here. Maybe it was too expensive? Maybe there was something more sinister keeping patients away?
Gameplay review: According to the leaked gameplay footage, the Principia Sanatorium is widely open area filled to the brim with a number of small and large buildings. The POI also consists of various water bodies that are surrounded by the Soviet viewpoint. As you might have thought, the Soviet Building is heavily inspired by the Russian military, and it also features ramps for a quick exit.
Tranquility Parish
Description: This charming parish houses a church that was built in the recent century – but the church itself is not the real point of interest. Rumor has it there is a record book within its hallowed halls that updates seemingly on its own. One can only imagine the wealth of information and intriguing intel such a book may hold…
Gameplay review: The Tranquility Parish is a beautiful mountain area with plenty of trees and houses. There’s also a church right in the middle of the POI where players could potentially grab rare loot. The best part is you’ll also find the railway track at this location which means you can embark on the train right after looting the area in order to enter the next safe zone quickly.
Industrial Park
Description: Quite an impressive factory, it must have been a sight to behold when it was active. Sadly, in recent times it has fallen into silence and disuse… We may never know what they made here.
Gameplay review: The Industrial Park is sourced from the cancelled Ural Mountains Warzone map with various noticeable tweaks. The leaked gameplay footage suggests that Industrial Park is home to the various mining offices and nuclear power plants which will probably lie on the southern part of the map.
Knight Station
Description: The station still faithfully announced arrivals and departures despite the fact no trains seem to actually stop here.
Gameplay review: As mentioned earlier, Knight Station is exclusively developed for Call of Duty: Mobile. As the name suggests, it’s a one stop destination for the train roaming around the map, similar to the Reckless Railway POI if you’ve played Fortnite. Unfortunately, the detailed gameplay footage of this location hasn’t been out yet.
Safari Land Animal Park
Description: The Safari Land Animal Play Park was in such a state of disrepair on our last visit that we scarcely saw any animals of note. Unless you count a rather feral-looking group of boisterous chickens.
Gameplay review: A large portion of the Safari Land Animal Play Park is covered by the Zoo which used to be a home for a variety of animals. Unfortunately, in the recent way, it has been completely destroyed, which is why you won’t find any creatures here once you land at this location. Thankfully, you can fulfill your essential loot needs and grab a nearby vehicle to head to the nearest battleground.
