Although, it isn’t your basic axe. You need the tier above, an uncommon Forrest axe. That’s the equivalent of Green in Battle Royale rarity, but it does work for our purposes here.

To build the common Axe, it only requires 3 bones and 3 wooden rods. Quite simple to gather from nighttime attacking skellingtons and basic materials. It’s a lot easier than building a car in Lego Fortnite.

Since Knotroot grows in dark places, you’ll probably also need to gather some torches. These are fairly simple to come across though.

Once you’re all ready, it’s time to go and get your wood. Knotroot spawns in one place, caves. Same as other resources though, like gathering Obsidian in Fortnite Lego, but it’s only in a specific biome. In this case, grasslands. It’s where most players start and Knotroot is in abundance there.

This is how you can get Knotroot Lego Fortnite:

Find a cave in the grasslands – Marked as a stone dome with an opening on one side

Enter the cave
Equip your torch if you want to see easily
Head over to branch looking things that should growing out of the walls and roofs
Using your uncommon Forrest Axe, start hacking away at the Knotroot

After a while it should drop down ready for you to collect
