Fortnite gets loads of colllabs, but some don’t come back as often as others. For a long time, one of the collabs that was missing was Stranger Things. Until OG brought it back to the item shop with new skins. However, one of the most fun of the stranger things skins still wasn’t seen very often. Today, we’ve seen the Demogorgon Fortnite skin return after quite an absence.
Out of all Fortnite Collabs, Stranger Things took a particularly long time to come back after Chapter 1. Since OG, the series has been more normal in its rotation. However, that often isn’t with the Demogorgon skin. Instead, just being the human characters in the series. Today it is back in the Item Shop though, why has it been missing and how can you get it?
Demogorgon Fortnite Skin
The Demogorgon Fortnite skin has been brought to the item shop after an absence of over 300 days. However, before it appeared for two days in 2023, it has been missing since 2019. It’s one of the skins that’s popped up the least.

Part of its lack of appearance might be down to a bit of a weird thing with its design. It’s of a monster, and a scary one at that. Now that the game has embraced a wider audience of players for Fortnite with additions of Lego and other modes. This meant not every skin was available everywhere.
Rather than having potentially frightening skins increase the age rating of all modes, Epic has marked some as unusable in some games. The Demogorgon is one of these skins. While this doesn’t affect them coming back directly, other marked skins like Eddie Brock have been missing for quite a while too, until recently. With both back at the moment though those looking for the scariest Fortnite skins have a bit of choice right now.
Demogorgon Back in the Item Shop
At the moment we’re in the last week of Fortnitemares, before the game moves on to a new Chapter. However, we’ve seen some interesting additions to the item shop. This has included the return of a few skins like the Demogorgon.
If you want to pick up. the Stranger Things monster now is the best time! Since it’s typically gone for quite a while, there’s no telling when it’ll come back. This is also an item shop skin. So if you want to get it, you’ll need to purchase it with V-Bucks. There’s not alternative with quests this time.
