The DreamLeague Season 24 is just underway with the group stage matches showcasing the calibre of the competition. And while there’s plenty of talented rosters in the tournament, such as Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators, and Team Falcons, we’re still only a few weeks out from the post-International 13 roster shuffle. That means while there’s an obvious favorite, there could be upsets during this early season tournament.

Who will win DreamLeague Season 24?
So which team is likely win DreamLeague Season 24? Some of the most qualified candidates will surely include the likes of Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators, Team Falcons, and Tundra Esports.
Team Liquid are The International 2024 (TI13) champions, so there’s definitely expectations on them to perform well at DreamLeague S24. This is a dedicated team that’s only had a minor change to its overall roster, and as a result, could replicated their success from Copenhagen.
Gaimin Gladiators and Tundra Esports, the first and second runner-up at TI13 respectively, are also on the same boat, having a good track record of accomplishments to back their credibility, and limited roster changes. Both these powerhouses had at least one player leave since TI13 with Gaimin picking up Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov as their new hard carry player, and Tundra undergoing a more thorough roster shuffle with Team Liquid’s former player, Neta “33” Shapira.

Team Falcons’ reign as champions
As far as consistency goes, Team Falcons’ roster is the only team in DreamLeague S24 that remained unaltered since TI13. It seems like Falcons has faith in their current line-up, which has been playing together for almost an entire year now.
Moreover, this roster still has the accomplishments to assert their dominance at DreamLeague S24, even if they only placed fourth at TI13. To recap, they won BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, DreamLeague S22 & S23, ESL One Birmingham 2024, and most recently, BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024. Simply put, if you’re listing the strongest Dota 2 teams, Falcons have to be on top.
Nevertheless, it’s also crucial to note that a recent South American star, HEROIC, upset them at PGL Wallachia S2, so the team isn’t without flaws. They’re where the smart money is if you’re looking to bet on Dota 2 this week, but
Honorable Mentions
The DreamLeague S24 has no shortage of promising teams, as there are many more teams that could potentially perform well. Let’s not forget about Xtreme Gaming, BetBoom Team, and Team Spirit, which are also present at DreamLeague S24. They are all TI13 participants, and just as capable of making the aforementioned teams sweat.
All in all, if we have to put our money somewhere, most plausible team to win DreamLeague S24, it’s Team Falcons hands-down. However, it’s by no means a sure deal. This is the most competitive event since TI13 in terms of the quality of organizations involved. If there was any event where you could see a surprise outsider take a victory, it would be at DreamLeague Season 24.
