Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail releases on June 28 into early access, and from July 2 for everyone else, but we can expect many players to be anticipating future patches already. Thankfully, FFXIV has a very consistent level of updates and events to keep players going, and below we’ve put together a complete patch schedule for Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail.
Please note, some of these dates are speculative or unconfirmed, and in which case will only have a month, rather than a full date.
When Does the 7.08 Patch Release for Final Fantasy XIV?

Dawntrail Patch 7.08, will likely release in late October, and will most likely be a smaller balance patch, perhaps adding some PvP elements, but otherwise not a huge patch.
When Does the 7.1 Patch Release for Final Fantasy XIV? FFXIV 7.1 Crossroads Release Date

The first mainline patch for Dawntrail will be 7.1, Crossroads, and will feature the first part of the Echoes of Vana’diel story and raid series, as well as the Futures Rewritten (Ultimate) in 7.11. This patch is expected to be released in Mid-November 2024. This was confirmed by Yoshi-P, Naoki Yoshida during the Sep. 29 Live Letter which revealed the name of the patch, Crossroads, and the release date.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch Release Timings
Final Fantasy XIV releases its main patches (X.1, X.2, X.3, etc.) every four months. In the meantime, it releases smaller patches with additional content.
