The Fortnite Attack on Titan collaboration could be coming back soon. Epic Games went through a stretch of time where they brought in loads of anime characters and brands, including Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and My Hero Academia. AoT was one of them, and it got the benefit of some pretty incredible items in the game as well as skins in the Item Shop. Based on the latest leak, those items might be coming back at some point.
Fortnite Attack on Titan Collaboration Might Be Coming Back
According to HYPEX, a renowned leaker in the Fortnite community, the Attack on Titan items recently got an update in the game files. They were added back in the most recent update, which means Epic Games is presumably planning to bring them back. This includes the ODM Gear and Thunder Spear, two Mythic weapons from Chapter 4 Season 2. The two items are present again, which is usually not without reason.
The leaker indicated that there are three possible outcomes because of this:
Skins return to the Item Shop and the Mythics return to Battle Royale mode
Skins return with a second wave to the Item Shop and the Mythics are back in the loot pool
AoT skins come back with the Mythics added to Creative mode
Either way, something from Attack on Titan is more than likely coming back. The items themselves were updated, so they’re undoubtedly being added either to Battle Royale or Creative. The skins are more than likely coming back with them because Epic rarely misses a chance to promote in-shop skins. If the items are in the loot pool, the skins are probably in the shop.
It remains to be seen when this might happen, though. The ODM Gear and Thunder Spear don’t make a lot of sense in the current Marvel season. If there are going to be Mythics in the loot pool, they should be Marvel-related. If anything, they shouldn’t be different brand collaborations.
