Disney and Fortnite are likely to be working together a lot over the coming years, and that may include Pixar brands.

The two companies already have a very strong relationship since the upcoming battle pass is likely to be filled with Marvel characters. They have also used more than a few Star Wars characters and host a collaboration event every May for Star Wars Day. Both of those are under the Disney umbrella. So is Pixar, which will officially be coming to Fortnite. Per the leaks, this is only the beginning.

More Pixar in Fortnite Likely

It has been confirmed as a result of the recent D23 expo that The Incredibles are coming to Fortnite. This marks the first collaboration with Pixar, the iconic animation studio. The superhero family will show up in-game. Additionally, players can enjoy content based on Mr. and Mrs. Incredible as well as the fan-favorite Frozone. This ties in nicely with the announcement that a third film in the franchise is coming soon.

However, leaker ShiinaBR pointed out something very important about this collaboration: it’s the first Pixar crossover. This word choice is important because it implies that The Incredibles will not be the last or the only crossover from that world. In fact, more are likely to come down the line. Fortnite and Disney are clearly going all-in on one another, and there are loads of iconic franchises within the Pixar brand that would work well in Fortnite.

For starters, with the focus on cars and having Rocket Racing, a Cars movie crossover is very possible. Players could drive around as Lightning McQueen, for instance. Before Rocket Racing, this likely would have been too difficult to pull off.

Epic Games could also look to Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Inside Out, and others. Some of the movies and properties from the brand would be difficult to translate into Fortnite, but there are a lot that would work very well. The Incredibles collab is expected to come out this year.
