Fortnite is poised to add another animated show to its catalog. Throughout the years, Epic Games has gathered a ton of different brands and other forms of media under its umbrella. The battle royale is truly one-of-a-kind in that it legitimately includes characters like Spider-Man, John Wick, Rick Sanchez, Master Chief, Kratos, Patrick Mahomes, LeBron James, and Hatsune Miku.

With the game still as strong as ever, there’s no reason to slow down. Epic is not doing that, as new collaborations are announced all the time. The latest is an animated show that seems a little out of the blue given that it ended about 15 years ago.

Fortnite to Add King of the Hill Crossover

Per leaks, Epic Games is about to add King of the Hill to its long list of collaborations. HYPEX confirmed that a collaboration between the show and Fortnite is coming, and that Hank Hill is the first known skin. There could and probably will be much more to the collab, but at least the main character is confirmed.

It is expected that Hank Hill (and others) will be cel-shaded like the Rick Sanchez or Peter Griffin skins. It will presumably match the animation style of the show. There could also be Hank Hill’s golf club as a pickaxe or a Lady Bird pet back bling. There may also be a possible Jam Track or emote with the show’s theme song. Peggy, Hill’s wife, and Bobby, his son, could join the collaboration, too.

There are several animated shows in Fortnite already. Rick and Morty, Family Guy, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Attack on Titan, Avatar The Last Airbender, Futurama, and so many more have already entered the metaverse. There’s currently no release date for the crossover.

Fortnite is probably getting King of the Hill sooner rather than later (although this is a Fortnite leak, so keep that in mind). We just don’t know exactly when. It’s also unclear if this will be an Item Shop or Battle Pass crossover.
