Fortnite has had a lot of crossovers, but October is always when we see some creative additions to the game. While more family-friendly fare comes up all year round, Halloween can mean some more adult franchises coming to Fortnite. Last year that was Michael Myers. This year, it’s a Fortnite Saw collab.
As time has progressed to the start of Fortnitemares 2024, we’ve begun to see more and more leaks about what’s coming next. A lot of players expected another icon of horror to arrive in the vein of Ash or Michael Myers. Exactly what franchise would cross over with Fortnite was an unknown though. Until recently when evidence of a Fortnite X Saw collab popped up in-game.
After a retro TV debuted in a house on the map, dataminers began to say this was going to host the first teasers for a Fortnite Saw collab. Even though the initial teasers aren’t in game yet, how long do we have to wait for the Fortnite Saw collab?
Fortnite Saw Collab Coming
This new collaboration has been found by dataminers, and will apparently be teased on a retro TV on the map starting soon. Although, we’re a little light on details about what Fortnite Saw collab will actually entail.
The most likely guess is just going to be some skins. We probably won’t see Saw-style traps included in the game at any point. In terms of what skin, most players are assuming it’s going to be Jigsaw, the recognizable face of the collab. However, their proportions might need messing with a little bit to make them fit the standard Fortnite hitbox in matches.
When Will Skins Release?
While details are still thin, what do we know about the Fortnite Saw release date? There’s no firm date yet like we have for the Incredibles skins. However, we do have a rough window we can expect things in.

We’ll have to keep an eye on the store over Fortnitemares. Once the event starts, we could expect it at any time.
It looks at the moment like later October would be the most likely release date. This would line up with when we got Halloween skins in past Fortnite seasons. We can expect things to start arriving in the Fortnite item shop in October, most likely in the later part of the month.
