Fortnite Confirms Rumored Fortnitemares Crossovers

Leaks and rumors have been continuously coming about the 2024 Fortnitemares season. With still a few days between now and the official event, there’s a bit of confirmation around a few of them. Per a new loading screen, Leatherface, Jigsaw, and a scary Marshmello style are coming to the game.

Jigsaw was already confirmed in some capacity due to the Saw TV teases found in the game, but now it’s confirmed that the horror icon is getting a skin. So is Leatherface of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

This still leaves plenty of room for other leaked characters. Ghostface of Scream was rumored. Jason Voorhees was as well. Those remain leaks and rumors for now, though time will tell if Epic Games decides to add them this year or not. They’ve both been the subject of years’ worth of rumors. There’s no telling if 2024 will bring the end of those. Either way, two iconic horror villains will enter the Item Shop soon.

Fortnitemares is a yearly Halloween event. This time of year, also known as spooky season, always has it. In 2024, it’s expected that the official event will begin on October 15 and continue through the end of the month.

Therefore, from now until October 15, look for more leaks, rumors, and teases about what other characters might be joining the ever-growing list of Fortnite horror characters. You can also expect existing scary skins, whether original or collaborative, to come back in the shop over the next few weeks.
