Split Screen is one of the most useful features in Fortnite Battle Royale, and it has now also been introduced for the LEGO mode. As a result, you and your family members or friends can play on the same device together using two different controllers. If you’re excited to use Split Screen in Fortnite, here’s how you can enable it.

How to activate split screen in LEGO Fortnite

Here’s an overview of the steps to access split-screen in LEGO Fortnite:

Start Fortnite and go to the LEGO Fortnite Lobby.
Connect the second controller.
Select the second player’s console account. (Note: Guest and Quick Play console accounts aren’t supported.)
After picking a console account, Fortnite will automatically ask the player to link their Epic account. (If they link their Epic account, they can access their Locker Outfits, Passes, Quests, and other progress.)
After the second player is logged into Fortnite, they will appear in the Lobby.
Split-screen mode will automatically begin when you start Fortnite.

It’s important to mention, though, that the split screen in LEGO Fortnite is only available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Additionally, you can’t use guest accounts and quick play console IDs to use this feature. You must have an active Fortnite account in order to turn on split screen in Fortnite.

Can you play split-screen on PC or mobile?

Unfortunately, you cannot play split-screen in Fortnite on PC or mobile in the latest update. This is probably because both of these systems don’t natively support two different controllers.

Also, while the split screen is activated, both players will have a different inventory. On top of that, players must select the same language setting because multiple languages aren’t supported on split screen. Finally, the split screen will automatically be turned off if one of the players leaves the match. As a result, the other user has to start a new session in order to continue playing the game.
