There’s absolutely no doubt about it at this point. This Imperial Valkyries core (once Nigma Galaxy) is the best female CS2 team of all time, as if it wasn’t already obvious. After winning every single ESL Impact League Finals since its inception in mid-2022, Imperial have done it again in S6.

It’s another trophy for ANa and co, showing experience and poise to overcome some tough obstacles against FURIA. Imperial needed all three maps to get the job done here, after an admirable fight from FURIA that continued right until the very kill. It was epic to watch how Imperial never collapsed under the pressure – a team that has been here many times before. From ESL Impact League Season 1, this marks eight consecutive Final wins in this circuit. Unmatched dominance.

Usually with Imperial Valkyries, it’s ANa who stands out above the crowd. The star AWPer was middle of the pack here, and the team has Kat and tory to thank for them lifting the trophy on the day. Both managed over 50 kills across the series here, with solid maps two and three as they looked to retain their championship.

Who can stop Imperial Valkyries?

FURIA were a surprise package here, and not the CS2 betting favorite to make it to the Grand Final of the ESL Impact League S6 Finals. Yet, on the day, they probably came closer than anyone previous to beating Imperial. They were even gathering momentum at the end of map three, before an eco win for Imperial helped them pull away. There was a world where the dominance came to an end, here.

If FURIA can’t beat Imperial at an ESL Impact event, then who can? Many of the teams in the circuit can’t come close at the moment, and NAVI Javelins, a close contender at previous events, are still experiencing growing pains with ASTRA as IGL. It’s really tough to see anyone matching Imperial any time soon, and their incredible legacy continues to grow with each CS2 tournament.
