Landmarks in Fortnite are often the subject of challenges in each season. It may be to visit a few specific ones or just to do something at three different landmarks. This term comes up frequently, but it does not refer to POIs. Those are points of interest, and the video game always denotes the difference between the two. So, if Doomstadt isn’t one in Chapter 5 Season 4, what are landmarks in Fortnite?
What are Landmarks in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4?
Landmarks refer to the smaller locations. When players travel outside of massive POIs and come to a building or a designed area on the map, that’s a landmark. There have been plenty on almost every single map the game has had. It’s important to note that these didn’t debut until Chapter 2. Before then, so in the original chapter, these locations only had names that the community designated to them. Now, they all have names and can be located on the map as such.
The Chapter 5 Season 4 map has plenty. Here are all of them, including some brand-new locations:
Charon’s Crossing
Coastal Columns
Reclaimed Villa
Sandy Strip
Snooty Station
Primo Pumps
The Dam Bridge
The Wreckmill
Orchard Station
No Moored Manor
Pea Bois HQ
Megalo Depot
Lil Dirty Dock
Research Rock
Summit Temple
Hazy Hillside Tunnel
Pantheon Path
Summit Base Camp
Weapon X Lab
Dumpenhausen
Zenith Wall
Grand Station
Rescue Station
Breezy Coast
Coastal Comms
Latverian Station
Cloistered Castle
Piney Lane
The Ol’ Mill
The Cemetery
Estate Station
Piney Pumps
Underworld Station
The Other Windmill
These are not POIs, but they’re mostly located right around the bustling centers of activity on the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 island (the main island, not Doctor Doom’s island). Whenever a challenge tasks you with going to a landmark, know that it’s not a POI. The game will often mark on the map where the location is, but this way you will know exactly where you’re going and where all the other locations might be.
