It’s the last two days of VALORANT Champions 2024. Yesterday, Edward Gaming became the first VCT CN team to qualify for the Grand Finals. Sentinels, on the other hand, were eliminated from the tournament. Day 2 of the VALORANT Champions 2024 consisted of the lower-set Finals between Leviatan and Edward Gaming. The winner of this match became the second team to qualify for the Grand finals. In this article, let’s look at some of the major highlights from the day.
Team Heretics Kill The Dreams Of Leviatan And Qualify For Grand Finals

Going into this lower bracket finals, fans were hyped to see the rematch between the two teams. After their loss to Edward Gaming in the upper bracket finals, it did feel like they were a wounded animal out for blood. Leviatan was the only team with former VALORANT Champions winners on their roster.
On the other hand, Team Heretics defeated Sentinels on the first day of the semi-finals. During that game, Team Heretics’ trait that was in complete focus was their mentality. Their point of worry for this match was their stamina during a best-of-5 series.
Game one was on Icebox, which was the map pick of Leviatan. Leviathan started strong by winning the first three rounds of the game. But following that, Leviatan couldn’t keep the lead in their favor. Dominykas “MiniBoo” Lukaševičius single-handedly helped his team win this map with a scoreline of 13-7. Miniboo, in this match, had a kill-to-death difference of +6 and 6 first bloods to his name.
During game 2, Team Heretics procured the lead in the first half with a scoreline of 8-4. Aspas tried to help his team win the map by securing multiple 4K. While he could take Leviatan to overtime, it wasn’t enough as Miniboo again dominated the server with a KDA of 22/17/7 with seven first bloods.

Game 3 was the Roberto Mazino Rivas show. He was crucial in winning seven out of the eight rounds on defense by diffusing the spike. Leviatan won Map 3 with a score of 13-9. Team Heretics could shrug this loss off their shoulders and decimated Levitan on the map of Lotus, winning 11 out of the 12 rounds on the attacking half. Team Heretics won the map with a scoreline of 13-3.
Now, we are all set for the Grand Finals of the VALORANT Champions 2024 between Edward Gaming and Leviatan at 5 PM KST.
