Year of the Snake brings Helix VALORANT Skin Bundle

At the start of every year, VALORANT releases a new skin bundle or Battle Pass in the game to celebrate the Chinese New Year. This year, VALORANT has chosen the snake theme with the Helix skin bundle. The bundle will be available in the VALORANT store once Patch 10.01 goes live. This bundle is a half bundle rather than an entire bundle. A half bundle consists of 2 or fewer weapon skins, whereas an entire skin bundle consists of 4 weapon skins. The Helix skin bundle will consist of the following weapon skins:
1. Phantom
2 Spectre
3 Melee (duel-wielding daggers)
The unique part of the skin is its finisher animation. The final enemy’s body starts levitating, wrapped by a futuristic snake resembling a python. The interesting part of this animation is that the head of the snake always faces you. This means the snake will do the same if a player moves from left to right. Only three color variants (white, red, green) of this skin have been confirmed.
New VALORANT Helix Snake Flex and Bundle Price

Players can also obtain a new flex in the game within the Helix skin bundle. The flex consists of a snake wrapping around the player’s arm. Currently, it is not known if the color of the flex can also be changed.
According to past trends, the VALORANT Helix bundle will be priced between 6100 and 6800 VP. Players could buy just the Phantom or Spectre skin for under 2700 VP. With rumors of an upcoming VCT melee skin releasing within VALORANT, it will be interesting to note if players buy the entire bundle or just the individual weapon skins.
