When is the Fortnite Chapter 6 Release Date?

According to Fortnite leaks, Chapter 6 has made its way on to the testing server. Those at Epic are currently testing out the game in its next incarnation, which means we’ve got a rough date of when we can expect it to release.

It seems like the Fortnite Chapter 6 release date is going to be December 1st, 2024!

This would line up pretty nicely with the more recent Chapter release dates. Lately, Epic has been finishing Chapters off after only four seasons, so there’s frequent new maps for players to jump into with all new landing spots. However, four seasons doesn’t quite a run a yar. So we’ve been getting Fortnite OG, a flashback to earlier Chapters in the game.

Then, we get the new chapter arriving just before the holiday break. Gives players a lot of time to try out everything new. Although, it does often mean a major update right before Epic leaves, which can cause problems. Probably the worst we saw was the launch of Chapter 4, which had major issues. However, Chapter 5 was quite a bit smoother in its early weeks.

By the current Chapter 6 release date, it looks like we’re getting a similar release schedule this year. We’re all looking forward to the return of Chapter 2 next month, then we’ll move on to a fresh start with Chapter 6 which already looks set to receive a load of major updates in its first season.
