Fortnite has tons of cosmetics and lately they’ve expanded with a new section. Whole new skins for cars, letting you drive real vehicles whenever you find a car instead of just applying a simple wrap to the existing model. That section is getting a bizarre new collab, with a Fortnite Cybertruck skin coming.
Since cars were added, Epic has been gradually incorporating more and more collabs to them. At first, it was super cars with custom models around the map. More recently, they’ve become skins that change your car’s model to one from the Fortnite item shop entirely. There have been rumors of these becoming a bigger part of the game’s crossovers. With even cars from pop-culture appearing alongside skins, like the Batmobile or Delorean.
The latest collab for Fortnite vehicles isn’t a famous car from the movies though. It’s the kind of controversial and interestingly designed car from Telsa. A Fortnite Cybertruck skin.

Fortnite Cybertruck Coming
In a new trailer released today, Epic has shown off a new cosmetic coming to the game. You’ll be able to purchase a Fortnite Cybertruck skin. This is joining skins from popular makers of supercars in-game, and designs from the wide worlds of media. The Fortnite Cybertruck is a stranger pick though.
Since it was first unveiled, there’s been a fascination with the car from areas of the internet. Physically, it looks like a bizarre low-poly video game mode. Since its manufacture began it made headlines for a lot of the wrong reasons, including proving kind of dangerous. However, the car definitely has an interesting visual. It’s hard to miss.
Joining the Fortnite skins line-up, it might fit in a little better in the chaotic world of Fortnite. The trailer for the new skin reveal is a bit bigger than what we normally get for random car crossovers. Clearly Epic has big hopes for this Fortnite Cybertruck collab. While the cars skins have been criticized for their pricing in the past, it’s at least a little more affordable in V-Bucks than in real life.
